I thought it would be best for everyone if I put one of these up.
If you have any issues about how I play Bourne, you are encouraged to raise them with me here. Of course, I very much welcome use of examples with your problem, so I can have a better idea of what to fix. If you have questions about why Bourne did something or why he did so in the way he did, those are also encouraged.
I want to be the best player I can for all of you, after all!
Anonymous commenting is on. As for the IP address issue, in spite of playing two hackers, I have absolutely no idea of what to do with them, so you're quite safe.
If you feel the need to contact me privately, the best way is probably by e-mailing agreylady@gmail.com. You can also talk to me at my rl journal,

On the off chance you find it interesting or helpful, movie!Bourne (this guy) vs. book!Bourne
Note on DDD!canon: When I first picked up Bourne, I decided to take him from after Ultimatum. I had not expected anybody to show an interest in playing Marie. Someone did. To accommodate Marie, her first player thought to rewrite canon so that she hadn't actually died in Supremacy, but turned up farther downriver and thought Bourne was dead until they met again through the comm. So that's the DDD!canon. Eventually Marie's player left the game, and since I was npc-ing the character anyway I decided to pick her up myself and hold her until someone better came along to play her. So, the current Marie (
bitofagypsy) is adoptable. Please, someone, take the poor woman in.
And, random, but have an fst, if you want.

Note on names: I'm going to be writing from various points in, after, and possibly before canon. Because of the nature of this character, that means the name used will change. From the beginning of Identity until after he's visited the Gemeinschaft Bank in Zurich, he won't even have a name. After that point until towards the end of Ultimatum, he'll be using his best guess, Jason Bourne. Once he's found out his real name, he'll be David Webb (and develop quite a distaste for "Jason Bourne"). Should I cover anything before or during his "training" with the CIA, he will also be David Webb. In the unlikely event there's a drabble set in his assassin days, he'll be Jason Bourne.
The five writer's choice prompts are actually all titles of short stories from Mark Helprin's collection The Pacific. Because I am that much of a dork. [ David's sitting near the door of his and Marie's apartment, idly going over a map of the city, wondering what to do. But just getting out in the first place is the most important thing. And he will, as soon as Corinthian arrives. ] [ And locked to the past-knowing group. You know who you are. ...Also, this is in response to Secrets, and Secrets is a hiatus-free zone, so this is totally not hiatus breaking. Really. ] [ Another case of accidentally left open to the past-knowing people! Which at this point includes Cori #2, Phoenix, Edgeworth, Marie, and Pam. ] [ Also, backdated to before Corinthian #1's appearance. ]
Because I think about this man way too much. [ Intended to be private, but accidentally left open to the past-knowing crew. Meaning Cori, Phoenix, Edgeworth, Marie. ] The temperature around here this time of year is nice to run in. It's nice not to have to deal with snow while getting around, too. [Backdated a week. >.<] (( Backdated to the night of the 25th. Also, hell yeah ic entry 42! )) Yup, I'm working on a Christmas present list too. Because Cori-mun is brilliant. [Locked to Marie, Corinthian, Phoenix, and Edgeworth (the past-aware crew)] [Backdated to just after the musical virus.] (( The mun is fail. It's that simple. )) [Private voice post. Hackable if you really want.] |
